Tears, Sleepy-heads, and Gilbert Blythe

Hey peoples!

Sorry it's been awhile..:(

So to sum up the past few days...

Friday night: Heather, Happiness and myself spent the night at the school!!! We also went to our weekly missionary devo at the Hochdorf's. 

Saturday night: 

We had a visitor to dinner. He came over to teach a couple of master student classes.

Sunday night:

Fun!!! Abby Gaines invited us to spend the night with her..:) Sweet!! They took us to a see "Saving Mr. Banks" in theaters. It was SO sad...:'(

Then when we got back, Abby asked if we  wanted to finish the end of the first movie of Anne of Green Gables. We had watched it before, but it was scratched, so, we missed quite a few parts...:(

Then when we were done with THAT movie, she suggested we watch the SECOND (double fun, she had also never see them), so we do that, and it ending, Abby said, "We CAN'T stop there", so we...watched the third one. I assumed we were going to be up to 2am to 3am watching something...I fell asleep finally on the couch...around 3:30am, waking up to Anne of Greeen Gables~The Continuing Story (the third and last one) still playing...yeah...and so I turn on my phone to see what time it was....it was:

6am..yes I said 6AM...Abby and Heather, did not sleep a blink!!!!

A whole THIRTEEN hours of Gilbert Blythe, Anne Shirley, Marilla and Matthew Cuthbert, Diana Barry, Rachel Lynd, Josie Pye, an quite a few more..:)

BTW-not to ruin anyone's idea if what Gilbert Blythe (Jonathan Crombie) is like..sorry, but FYI, he is exactly 2 months younger than MY DAD---dad will be 48 on August 12..:) Sorry girls, he's just a WEE bit older than ya...:/ Lol!!!

Oh well, I ain't tired though...:)

Toddler-Sitting~Rats!-No--I'm not upset...

The other day, I got to baby-sit Lianna and Katrina again (around four and five)! They are the sweetest lil' girls!

SO..concerning "Rats!"---I was on the computer yesterday night, and Heather comes to the balcony looking over the living-room.

Heather: *in a shaky voice* "Candace, I think there is a rat under your bed! I saw it crawling!"

Me: "Who put it there?!?!?"

{Haha}

Well, ends up, a hole has been chewed through, the attic/storage door that my bed is against!
So, hopefully our guard Deo can get rid of it!! Eeek! I slept in the recliner last night! Along with Naomi and Elijah...:)

Happy Be-lated New Year!!!

{SO sorry I haven't posted in a while!!}

 

 Well, Heather, Abby Gaines, Happiness, and I started the New Year off...thinking of...yes...Gilbert Blythe. We were watching Anne of Green Gables, which Abby had brought for us to watch on the computer. It was pretty nice....:)

Earlier that evening, we had games and such at the Stafford's home. We also brought a cake (white with chocolate icing) and celebrated Happiness' 18th birthday! She got some jewelry, a book and some lotion!

Later, us, the four-some, went upstairs and played "Nines." Abby had to teach me and Happiness, Heather had learned a while before.

Then we talked quite a bit. :) Don't start guessing... *hehe*

 

 

So we started the New Year off...REALLY GOOD! Sadly though, the disc being SO scratched (and us about to die because of it:) we didn't get to finish it... *pout*...and had to skip some parts.

BTW-there WERE some fireworks (started ON THE DOT [or at least just about]), every time they started to get big, we would pause the movie (we can't miss A SINGLE SECOND:) and go to the window. Then as if almost on cue, they would STOP or just shoot tiny, itsy- bitsy, fireworks. Haha!!!

We slept until nine the next morning, having stayed up until  2:30am!!                                           

{It was really fun though!}
