For The Love of Riddles----

This is known as "Einstein's Riddle"...I think he came up with it...I mean the title implies that...right??...It is put in the "owner form"...you know with the apostrophe before the "s" and all...what ever that is!  (guess what! I knew how to spell it..A-P-O-S-T-R-O-P-H-E.*confession time*...no...it's called spell-chek [OK...if you didn't just catch what I did, and the fact that it was on purpose...I'm sorry you don't have a sense of humor... :>] SPELL CHECK did it for me..it spelled "apostrophe.")   Lol... (Yeah, just go ahead and say it...I'M RIGHT!!! Bahahaha!!!)

NOW....FOR WHAT I AM WRITING THIS WHOLE POST FOR...THE.... riddle...*shuffling feet*

•There are five houses in unique colors: Blue, green, red, white and yellow.

•In each house lives a person of unique nationality: British, Danish, German, Norwegian and Swedish.

•Each person drinks a unique beverage: Beer, coffee, milk, tea and water.

•Each person smokes a unique cigar brand: Blue Master, Dunhill, Pall Mall, Prince and blend.

•Each person keeps a unique pet: Cats, birds, dogs, fish and horses.

 The following facts are given:
1.The Brit lives in a red house.
2.The Swede keeps dogs as pets.
3.The Dane drinks tea.
4.The green house is on the left of the white, next to it.
5.The green house owner drinks coffee.

6.The person who smokes Pall Mall rears birds.
7.The owner of the yellow house smokes Dunhill.
8.The man living in the house right in the center drinks milk.
9.The Norwegian lives in the first house.
10.The man who smokes blend lives next to the one who keeps cats.
11.The man who keeps horses lives next to the man who smokes Dunhill.
12.The owner who smokes Blue Master drinks beer.
13.The German smokes Prince.
14.The Norwegian lives next to the blue house.
15.The man who smokes blend has a neighbor who drinks water.

If you figured it out, let me know...Einstein said only "two percent of the world can solve it."
If that is true...you just hope you are of the two percent...:)
I think I have figured it out...hope so...but I am still going to work on it. I have been using my paint and notepad on the computer...Lol..I like figuring these thing out....unless it has to do with math...

THIS is how I see a math word problem:

Q-
If I have 10 ice-cubes and you have 11 apples, how many pancakes will fit on the roof?
-Answer-
Purple, because aliens don't wear hats.

Bahahaha! You HAD to LOVE THAT!!! (OK...I didn't come up with it!! Blah blah blah!!!!)

I'll write about ACSOP'S Graduation, Thanksgiving and watermelon (haha) tomorrow!!!

-C-H-O-C-O-L-A-T-E -C-H-I-P-S- and Socialization

Randy Pyle and Tom Brandon arrived on Saturday.
They attended Kisongo the next morning.

We walk out shaking hands...

~They were so nice and brought us 4 BIG BAGS OF....CHOCOLATE CHIPS!!!!! That doesn't mean cookies, that means me and Heather behind the fridge with chocolate melting in our hand...hehe...~

ahhhhh....
They also brought us other stuff....food mixes, a few books for dad (you know, the boring Hebrew, Philosophy stuff.....B-O-R-I-N-G) ect.

We will be feeding them throughout the time they are here. Yay...I love having visitors...I get to use my "socialization" skills..."Oh!---But wait I don't have any!! *sniff...sniff* I'm HOMESCHOOLED." I mean, SURE, I live in Africa and have grown up knowing of  several different kinds of people (Dutch, Indian, European, ect) But I am NOT socialized! AND when we DO go home, I travel to different States, meet new people, and all....but that doesn't count for socialization....or does it? :) Lol! Jk..maybe...Idk..

And just because you forgot what I looked like..
Me and Naomi!
Cause I NEVER, HARDLY EVER, post pictures of myself...Haha...

*nervous laugh*

Who reads my blog?? I'm not sure..but I know the ones who do are in their right mind....I mean...I'm funny...right? I have a way with words...yes...and I'm just lil' ole' me!

Day with the kiddos!

Today mom had a hair appointment at TGT...a recreation center with a pool, park, a few businesses, a restaurant, ect. So---Stuart, Naomi and Elijah and I, went to the park and rugby field! I spun the little ones 'round some, along with the spinning "contest"...where you spin...*obviously*...until you get so tired you fall down with a merry laugh and bump of the head. The last person standing wins! :)

~It brings back memories of when I was little, I was around five. In Zachery, Louisiana, when we took dad his lunch, went to tell him something, give him something, or had too wait on him to do something, ect.
Us girls would spin in the foyer...I remember one specific night in particular...walking in dads office, seeing his apple paper weight, the owl letter-opener (I kept it...its special to me:)...in the leather pen-holder with a buffalo on the front (from TZ). Then going out in the foyer, the faded lavender carpet, going round in circles..and getting dizzy..fun...:)~

Stuart Densil

A few minutes later, we played a semi-game of "tackle football"...okay...with a MINATURE ball....yeah. And here we have a fourteen year-old girl, one eleven year-old boy and two seven year-olds...:) So of course Stuart goes to tackle me...it felt like he was trying to break my back and foot and give me a concussion to the head.

Me and Elijah Thomas

For awhile, Stuart, Elijah, and I...

HAD NAOMI FOR PRISONER....
*evil laugh*

in the Little Tikes castle...did I say Little Tikes??...why, YES I DID!
(It was a "tight squeeze" for me...haha!!!)

My logic was: "We got there first, you're the only one left...so you're our prisoner...." Makes sense right?? RIGHT!!
Naomi Pearl

......For lunch we had cheesy pizza and coke (BUT water first....we were good kids)......

Sipping cokes, gulping water,
and me and Naomi running from tackle-ready boys, then Naomi running from us...yes, 3-1, we all survived.....thankfully!

It was a fun day...

I love the little siblings...

2-Thursday's Acronyms

So, I forgot about doing this on Thursday...so I will do it...today...yeah. :)

L-isten,
   O-bserve,
V-alue,
    E-mbrace

Beginnings are usually scary and endings are usually sad, but it's everything in between that makes it all worth living.

“The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched, they must be felt with the heart" - Helen Keller

“It is never too late to be what you might have been.” - George Eliot

So I'll give you a glimpse of something...:)

Wanna know what I'm up to???

Yay! I knew you would!! Lol~

So, I enjoy writing, but not actual writing, like with a pencil and paper...that's not fun! I like writing on the computer, writing books on the computer. I always thought it would be so cool to write a book!

So, I tried to start one and it's going purdy good. Would you like to see a piece of it?
Yes?
That's great!

Here goes------

"Best Friends Forever~"

.......Ridge was ten and Ana had recently turned eight. He and his family had just moved there, to Louisville, Kentucky.
Mrs. Stanton heard about their new neighbors and whipped up a batch of cookies, Chocolate Chip, Ana’s favorite.  She and Ana carried the cookies and some ice-cold pink lemonade down the road a-piece.
When Mrs. Hanson opened the door, Ridge stood beside her, seemingly happy to have visitors. “Come in, come in ….uh….Mrs.…
“Stanton”, Melissa quickly put in. She thanked her for the cookies and put them on the dining-room table. “I’m Melissa and this is Ana,” she said patting Ana’s back.

“Ridge, how about you go outside and play with Ana?” Mrs. Hanson suggested.
“Okay, come on Ana!” He said with excitement in his young voice. Running down the back steps, he stopped in his tracks. "Friends forever? A vow."

Ana paused, "Yeah, friends forever" she said after a second.

That would be known as their beginning, that bond as friends. And they would be friends, maybe more than that, for the rest of their lives. Ridge had called it "a vow".........

 Another bit of it...

...A cool breeze blew in the barn door. Ana walked towards her horse, Freedom’s, stall. He was a brown and white speckled stallion.
Once she had saddled him, she rode out into the pasture. She gazed around her, at all the fifty acres. The land had been in her family for over seventy years. She was in love with her surroundings.
She rode on onto the woods, the leaves of the Cedar and Oak trees were now orange, red and brown...it was Ana’s favorite season, Fall.
Her dark brown hair, with blond tints, and Freedom’s brown mane, blew in the wind. It was so peaceful for those few miniscule seconds.
Brought back in to the real world, Ridge, her best friend was riding toward her. He had dark brown hair; he was six foot one and eighteen years old.  Talking in his deep southern drawl, How’se it goin’ Ana?”
“Pretty good,” she answered, glad she now had someone to share in the “wonderfulness” of it all.
“Come on”, Ridge said, grabbing her hand. He led her to the edge of the woods. They were now back in the beautiful open field..........

So, that's only a little bit of it...I have a good-bit more...:)

Like it?? Okay, so I'll break it to you...I AM NOT A VERY EXPERIENCED WRITER...WHEW!
JK...JK...JK!!!

I'll take input...:)

Electricity and Water.....we don't have it...

{Well we have electricity, but we pretty much only have it when the generator is run. Which costs because we have to buy the expensive petrol!}

SO----

The electricity company, Tanesco, told us a few days ago, that we would be out of....well, ELECTRICITY....*duh*.....for the next ten days! Well, that isn't HORRIBLE! But...it gets better!
In a few days, it will have been almost four weeks without power. It will come on occasionally though for a few hours. :)

Yesterday we were told we would be without water for the next three days....easy...call a water truck.....(which costs a nice 100,000 TSH. [$160] Yay!) RIGHT!

Well, it just so happens that the water truck can't pump WATER without ELECTRICITY....it gets better by the minute...doesn't it?

So, we have had a few people hand-washing, because when we do have the generator on, the washing machine doesn't like to work, for some odd reason...????

Me, Elijah and Naomi washing towels!

It sure did rub my "skeeter" bites right off my fingers! They HURT for a good few days!

So in order to conserve a bit of water and wash clothes at the same time, we take our rinse water once the wash is too dirty and use it for wash water and on and on, then we use the rinse-converted-to-wash water for...mopping...and we DO NOT RE-USE that water...well, OKAY...here goes...we WATER PLANTS with it!!!! *Whew...got that one out....*

But I am thankful for what I DO have....:) God has blessed me with good parents, several siblings and a good many friends. And of course food, and water and electricity (which is working most of the time. Only occasionally does this happen!)

We recently had a girls night.
We watched 'Brave' and ate Heather's amazing brownies and home-made ice-cream!!
Here are a couple of the girls that came over!

Have a wonderful day!!!!

Can I start over??

Hey everybody....yeah so I haven't written in over a month, and I am so sorry!!!! I'm not good at all with blogging often..so you noticed. Sometimes I feel like writing every single day for a week and sometimes I don't think about it for a month! I PROMISE, it only occasionally crosses my mind (we have been slightly busy) and when it does...well, yeah...I never get around to it! *shuffling feet*

So will you let me start over? Today, November 11th of 2013, can I start over with blogging? and try my 99% best to blog often, like every day to 3 days....PLEASE...:)

And because a post is incomplete with out pictures.....

I WAS SHORTER THAN ABIGAIL!!!!
Lol..
Late 2011

September 2013
Much difference..NOPE...I still got my baby face!
Yep, I was told that twice on furlough. Once by a guy, and the next by a real sweet lady.
So I will probably have it until I am 18! Haha!

I'm Fourteen!!!

  YAY!!!

Abigail made the cake, which was really good!
And my present was the IPhone I bought with my B'Day money in the U.S!

The advantages of being 14-

1 year until I can get on FaceBook
1 year until I can wear make-up :)
&  2 years until my Sweet 16!!!

The disadvantages of being 14:
I am a year older than I used to be :(

But hey! Who cares about the disadvantages!! I am 14!!!

And a picture of the birthday gurl----OF COURSE!!!!

So I wasn't QUITE 14 yet...about 26 days...:)
But I don't think I changed THAT much!!! Lol!
I might have gotten a bit crazier though...:/
Haha!

BTW- Another person's birthday is today--Gwen~She is my second cousin. she turned one..she is a sweetie-

At a family reunion~

The Three-Some!
We are going to miss this cousin (Olivia) and, of course, all the other ones!
Garret, Steven, Lauren, Ashley, Sarah, Rachel, Anna, Katie, Molly, Dylan, Jonathan, Alyssa, Haley, Frank, (2nd cousins-)
Gwen and Daron!

BTW...."YouOnlyLiveOnce"....SO...."fight like a girl"!!!! and wear cute, lace, black, elbow-sleeve shirts!! Along with a beaded necklace of course!! Lol!!

LOL!!!

Good to be home!!

~Home is where the heart is.~

Back to normal routine, chores and life!!!

It is really good to be home!! I didn't realize how much I had missed it.

Me and a best friend, Happiness!
This picture is 3 or 4 years old!

We were gone for 4 1/2 months...so the babies at church that were actually babies  aren't babies anymore!!!! Time flies though, so it seemed to go by really fast. We got to the U.S on May 1st and left on Sep. 16th...to us, a few weeks. Cause the next thing we were sayin' was, "We only have TWO WEEKS LEFT!!!" Etc. Jet Lag wasn't bad at all! At least for me. I guess I am used to it. :) And now I really miss friends in America....wherever I am I miss the other country..:( And I have really good friends in both the U.S. and TZ! I also made quite a few more friends this year. "Kept (most)
[ :( ] of the old ones and made...lets see....around 7-8 new ones!! Yay!

For those who have not seen pictures of our house..well it is below..yeah..:)

The big window "belongs" to the living room.
The round window on the right side of the house near the top is me, Elijah and Heather's room,
which is actually a balcony over the living-room!
The vines are passion fruit. The grill was built when my grandpa came over in 2011.

The balcony is Lindsey, Stuart, and David's room.
(Well, not the ACTUAL balcony...the room which has the balcony outside it...yeah...LOL!)
The window below the balcony is the play-room.
The farthest window on the left, is Mom and Dad's room.
I may get pictures of the other side one day....:)

So  I will try harder to post OFTEN!!!!
